You don’t truly understand the value of friendship until you get older. We have all been through so much and I am so blessed to reach my 50th year of life and still have all of you. Nothing will ever replace my love. Nothing will ever stop it.
After high school we remained close friends, but when we reached our twenties, we decided to take a vacation together every year. The movie “Waiting to Exhale” had just been released so we decided to call it our Waiting to Exhale trips. More often to not, we have been dedicated to these vacations trying a different location every year. It started in Orlando and destinations have included Jamaica, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami.
These trips are just for us. No spouses, no kids. On these trips we laugh and cry, share our challenges and solve problems. It’s an experience that I hope everyone can be blessed with in life.
